The water color blending gives this picture a rather dreamy feel to it! I like it!

If you find yourself liking something, but you have no idea what to comment, just fave it. I also only write comments, if I truely have to say something about an artwork.

The rainbows and Galaxia look awesome and so does the swirl pattern on his wing I would have never thought to use a pattern like that on Meta Knight. Nice work.XD:heart:

The idea for this pattern came out of pure despairation to be honest. Initially his wing was supposed to be colored normally, but that would've tured out quite "barren", for lack of a better term. So, to fit with the theme of swirls and smoke, I made his wing look that way. Thank you though, for those nice words.

 Excellent work! I really like all those swirly things everywhere... now that I notice it, I find it interesting how you shade meta Knight's mask in all your works, including here. I don't know, I just like how dark it is, I suppose

Thank you.
I wouldn't say every work, but I really like to use this kind of shading when "dark" characters are involved (especially when the background is black).
Like you said, this shading is often seen when I color Meta Knight, but I also use it when coloing his mirror counterpart and Shadow Kirby. By doing this, I try to underline the characters personality and likings. For example, the way I color Kirby is mostly very bright and peppy, to underline his happy go lucky nature.
So you could call it subtle characterization by coloring.

That's really interesting; I like the whole idea of 'subtle characterization'. I should try that..

Thank you.
Well, those 2 hours are spred up over days and even weeks. I only take small time portions
to paint, with a lot of breaks in between. So most of the time my paintings just sit there and wait until
I work on them again xD
That way I can make shure I don't rush the whole thing or loose interest in it.

if I stop to work on something, I loose most of my interest in X), I'm so stupid, here are 2 good examples of my lazyness

these 2 drawings haven't moved since I've posted them on there
kirbycutieslove76.deviantart.c… loose interest on this one and because of having her design wrong

kirbycutieslove76.deviantart.c… still love this one but i can't even touch it XD

Loosing interest in something you have worked on is one of the most frustrating things that can happen to an artist.
I can't tell how many thimes this scenario has already happened to me: "Yeah! I'm gonna paint this awesomely amazing thing and it's gonna be great!" -2 days later- "Meh, it doesn't interest me any more... let's just draw some doodles of Kirby making wierd faces".
And this my friend, is the reason why I'll never be a big name in the comunity : D
